The Opportunity:
We are introducing new technologies that will redefine the way companies work – and we are seeking highly driven and independent Business Development professionals that have what it takes to drive company sales by sourcing new clients.
Responsibilities:
- To Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
- To Procure new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department, cold outreach activities, account mapping and expansion efforts.
- To Identify and pursue sales opportunities and prospective clients to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- To Grow a healthy leads pipeline by attending trade shows, industry events, conferences, meetings, industry research and tender scouting for relevant opportunities.
- To Strategically move prospect towards a purchase decision through a process of follow ups, demos, negotiations, and close attempts.
- To Generate revenue by identifying customer pain-points and recommending suitable products or services that will best accommodate their individual problems.
- To Understand key accounts and increasing your reach among new and existing customers.
- To Go through sales-enablement training and obtain official Certification for our Vendor technologies.
- To Prepare and deliver, sales presentations, quotes, proposals, and any other relevant documentation to customers and prospects.
- To Co-ordinate customer requirements in line with business operations, develop and negotiate contracts.
- To Work together with Marketing and sales teams to target best-fit accounts and turn them into customers.
- To Promote the company’s brand products/services addressing and understanding clients’ needs
- To support and assist in marketing, events, and promotional activities.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- At-least 2 years of experience in selling enterprise IT systems and/or software products.
- Proven track record of developing new business and reaching or exceeding the sales targets independently.
- A people’s person with a flair for sales, Intuitive and insightful, great networking skills, and a natural aptitude for negotiation.
- Proven competence, and experience in negotiating contracts.
- Tech-savvy, professional, resourceful, and goal-oriented when it comes to getting deals over the line and takes pride in delivering top results.
- Have demonstrated collaboration and a track record of successful presenting, reporting and engagement to C-suite level & Heads of Departments.
- A fluent user of English with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Passionate about technology.
- CRM experience is preferred.
- Possess a high degree of work ethic, commercial acumen, and professional transparency.
- Be highly organised, analytical, results-oriented, resilient, decisive, dedicated, agile and audacious.
- Multiculturalism: ICON welcomes other cultures and speaking a second language apart from English will be considered a plus.
